How large do miniature goats get?
They are actually already full grown at basically 2 and half feet tall.
What do alpacas eat?
Alpacas eat hay, pellets, and grass, and occasionally snack on dandelions.
Do alpacas have to be shorn?
Yes, New Jersey summers are too warm for them to have thick wool. We have them shorn in June. Thankfully, the wool grows back in the winter.
What do you do with alpaca yarn?
Right now, we are donating it. We hope to eventually sell hats and scarves made of our very own alpaca wool.
